iSpQ Community Monitors (ICM): 3 Years of Service!

Three years ago iSpQ Video Chat introduced community monitors.  iSpQ Community Monitors (ICM) started working in the community in December of 2004. To match the diversity of the iSpQ community, we enlisted the help of iSpQ members in several different countries and time zones. Currently there are ten community monitors based in Italy, Australia, Netherlands and the US. Learn more about ICM's.

Upon initial introduction the ICM team was asked to monitor the chat and profile comments for appropriate content as directed by our online community policies. It was soon apparent that these volunteers were also helping with technical support and general questions regarding iSpQ VideoChat features. Users were able to get the assistance they needed while they were on line and using iSpQ. Interested in joining our ICM team, click here to apply.

TIP:  Shortcut to Send a QM

Sending Quick Messages (QM's) are the most used feature of iSpQ VideoChat. QM's provide the easiest and quickest way of communicating with others. Double clicking on the name of a person in the directory or your pal list brings up the send QM window. SHORTCUT: When finished typing the message you can press Control and Enter (CTRL-ENTER) to send the QM.

iSpQ VideoChat and Mac OS X Leopard

Apple recently released its newest version of Mac OS X Leopard (Version 10.5). This newest operating system for Mac OS users includes hundreds of new features and improvements. iSpQ VideoChat 8 is compatible with this latest release, however video chats freeze when initiating the call. A possible bug in the new Mac OS is causing this issue and our development team is working hard to come to resolution. It is expected that Apple will release an update to resolve this an other bugs in Leopard.
