iSpQ VideoChat 7.2 for Windows Released

iSpQ VideoChat version 7.2.21 for Windows is now available as a free upgrade to all iSpQ 7 owners in English, Japanese, Dutch, German, Spanish, Italian, and French. It offers a wealth of new ways in which to express your unique self. With the addition of smileys in QM, Text Chat, and Profiles, you can express your current mood by simply typing in the Emoticon shortcut of your choice or by using the Emoticon picker. All members of iSpQ 7.2 and MacOS 7.0 will see your mood in the form of a graphical smiley while older versions will see the text representation.

iSpQ 7.2 completed a rigorous four-week Beta Test cycle and has received the highest levels of praise, with some testers even declaring it the best iSpQ software release to date! Download it for free today! Thank you to all of the Beta Testers who provided such valuable feedback during the testing period!

Two new settings in the iSpQ 7.2 Options allow you to enable/disable smileys and the PhotoIM function. In addition, the software works better with our users who have their screens set to Large Fonts and are using Internet sharing devices. The progress made in these two areas demonstrate our commitment to making iSpQ the best video chat program on the Internet!

Mac Users: iSpQ VideoChat 7.2 for MacOS is currently under development and will enter a public Beta Test soon. Emoticon support is already present in version 7.0 for MacOS.

Live Chat with iSpQ's Creator

We want to hear from you! Our first community forum will be held on Wednesday, February 23rd from 3-4pm Eastern Standard Time. Come by the Meeting Zone chat room (linked from the Main G Room) to participate in a dialog with Bob Summers, creator of iSpQ VideoChat and president of nanoCom. The focus of the chat will be on video chat and iSpQ features. Bob looks forward to meeting you online. A QM reminder will also be sent to users who are online that day.

Room Spotlight: Gay Men Chat

Looking to meet another man of similar interest? Well look no further than the XX Gay Men adult chat gateway, located behind the Adult Main Gateway. From this room, you can converse with and meet members of all ages and backgrounds. You can also venture into the highly popular Bears/Cubs/Daddies room. Remember, this area of the community is only for iSpQ members 18 years and older.

Using Your Refuse List

There are many ways to begin communication within iSpQ VideoChat. Sometimes, however, you might want to block a channel of communication before it even starts. iSpQ's built-in Refuse List addresses this need by blocking designated users.

With iSpQ 7.2, you can now prevent contact from even taking place by clicking “Add to Refuse List” in that member's Profile (see below picture). This action may also be performed by right-clicking on a user on the Community tab and selecting Add to Refuse List. If you ever need to modify your Refuse List, select Tools > Options from the main menu, and select Refuse List in the left-hand list.

  -  Add to Refuse List, from Profile

Hide from Pal: Having problems on your Pal List? If you still want to receive QM's, video chat invites, and text chat messages from a Pal, but don't want them to see you online, you can hide yourself by selecting Hide from Pal in the right-click menu.
